[isf-wifidog] OLSR + Wifidog could not find mac address

I am managing a Wifi community consisting of 10 routers. All routers have
FreiFunk software (v1.2.3) installed (OLSR) and Wifidog version 1.2.1-beta2.
Everything works just fine.

But, when I want to add another router. There at least three hops between
this router and the internet connection. It is impossible to connect to
internet via this router. Strange thing is, there is an internet connection.
Skype works, MSN Messenger works and I can also get to my authentication
server. No problem. So, it is possible to access the internet.

But, as soon as you browse the internet you get to the authentication page.
You press the login button and then you are rerouted to the Wifidog status
page. You either get the Wifidog status page or a Wifidog page stating it
could not find a MAC address. And you are still unable to browse the
internet.

It looks like Wifidog is unable to write the correct statements in the
firewall setting.

This only happens at this specific location. Move the router to another
location and the router works just fine.

What could be causing this behaviour? The amount of hops?

Thanks very much for your help.
Berry
