I noticed the /tmp/.htaccess file but renaming it did not make the login dialogue go away.<BR>

Oh THAT /tmp/cookie.txt! Any chance or making it a little more apparent - 'specially given the tmp directory in WiFiDog's web root??! Some of us do not read PHP so well.<BR>
