Add me to the list #3. I never could get it to work properly or
figure out exactly what a Splash Page was supposed to do and how it was
supposed to react to a logon attempt.<br>

I can give you a link to a Splash Only page on the Monteregie sans fil

At least it lets me login and it redirects to the login page. But, how

administration' and in the 'Node administration' but, is always asking
for the username and password and it doesn't let the user to continue
to the internet. How can I have users just see a splash page on their
first attempt to go to the internet. After that users can continue to
the internet without any restrictions except those from iptables. How
can this be accomplished?

You are the second person to report problems with splash-only. There may be a
bug.
Unfortunately, it's not something I can test quickly without setting up an
actual access point.
