I've never tried a setup where the auth server is on the local LAN. I
don't know if this would cause problems, but I just always assumed that
the auth server would be installed elsewhere on the Internet.

It sounds like this might be a very simple problem to solve -- like
it's a DNS problem or a simple routing problem or something like that.
Perhaps start from scratch (with no wifidog!) and re-read the docs on <a
moz-do-not-send="true" href="http://openwrt.org">openwrt.org</a>?<br>
