[isf-wifidog] iptables and bittorrent

Dealing with excessive number of bittorrent connection seems to a
feature that people would like to have for a 2.0 release . I know that
this has been discussed previously but I couldn't retrieve the
original thread.
I found http://sourceforge.net/projects/iptables-p2p , which I guess
most of those people here needing that feature already know.

I'm just posting about that on the list because it looks like a
promising solution that I didn't know of.
I haven't done any benchmark yet so I cannot tell about its load on
limited embedded device such as the WRT54G.

wifidog (gateway) aims at keeping its core free of almost any
dependencies so it might not be suitable as is. As the set of c files
it's made of is quite small, bundling appears as a viable solution,
just as libhttpd that is already included. Providing as a plugin
through dlopen() also appears as something feasible and cleaner from a
programming and maintenance point of view.

I haven't done any testing with it yet. Do people on this list have
any experience with it ?  Would that be a possible solution or is it
too much for you taste ?
