That's a good question, Jean-Philippe : What are we talking to, really?
Upgrade the Wifidog server from actual version to a brand-new one V 2.0?
Or switch from wifidog captive portal to another one (Drupal, Pylon, or whatever.....)?

First, we are writing here into the "Wifidog mailling list", and second, this topic is"WifiDog v2 development update".
This led to the fundamental question : does everyone here wants to improve Wifidog, in a way of keeping it, instead of scraping it and choose another product existing in the market (OpenSource or not.... doesn't matter)?

Personnaly, I do not want to leave Wifidog, and the teams of  Montreal, Quebec, Sherbrooke, Drummondville wants to keep it, around the Sylvain Carle developpement team, as Norman P. Graziani (ISF, Montreal) said previously....
Dana Spiegel, I enjoy that your New-York team's announce his willing to keep going this way too!

So, if Everyone here work together with Sylvain Carle's team, we (i mean here "All the Open Source Wifidog Worldwide Communities and Sylvain Carle's team") can rebuild a brand-new "home-made" Open Source Wifidog 2.0 , with our "home taste".
