Hi,
sending the process in the background or writing to a file the verbose
output or omitting the verbose option does not make any difference:
neither of the wifidog command option does return the prompt;
I need to press enter one more time to get it.
With the command
>wifidog -d 7
I get the following error instead of the verbose output:
>iptables: Invalid argument
and no prompt again:
====================================================
dhcppc3:/etc/init.d # /etc/init.d/wifidog start
Starting Wifidog ...
Testing for iptables modules
Testing ipt_mac
ipt_mac module is working
Testing ipt_mark
ipt_mark module is working
Testing ipt_REDIRECT
ipt_REDIRECT module is working
OK
done
dhcppc3:/etc/init.d # iptables: Invalid argument
========================================================
it hangs here!!! I need to press enter to get the
dhcppc3:/etc/init.d # prompt. However the gateway and the auth server
work fine and if I stop wifidog I get the prompt:
========================================================
dhcppc3:/etc/init.d # /etc/init.d/wifidog stop
Stopping Wifidog ...

with YAST I get window popup
/etc/init.d/wifidog start returned nil (unspecified error)
instead of success.
The end of the /var/log/message is

==========================================================
Thanks.
