[isf-wifidog] SNMP not responding on Soekris

I am running wifidog on a Soekris with Linux pyramid and am having a
problem with SNMP.

here are the circumstances:

1) i have a working instance
2) i cloned the instance for a new location
3) i updated the new instance with the proper IP and wifidog info for
the new location
4) everything is working, but SNMP is not responding when queried from
the remote auth server
5) the auth server can SNMP walk the original location fine
6) i have eliminated any port blocking on the router in front of the Soekris.

if i snmpwalk from the soekris: snmpwalk -v 2c -c wifisalon [REAL IP
OF SOEKRIS] system
returns:

yet if i snmpwalk from the wifidog auth server it returns:
Timeout: No Response from [REAL IP OF SOEKRIS]

i have configured /etc/default/snmpd with this line:
SNMPDOPTS='-Lsd -Lf /dev/null -I -smux -p /var/run/snmpd.pid [REAL IP
OF SOEKRIS]'


any suggestions or troubleshooting tips?
remember the node is working great except for SNMP queries from an
external source.
