[isf-wifidog] auto-authentication between nodes?

Has anyone done anything with wifidog that would let someone hopping between a
fairly localized cluster of WRT54G's running OpenWRT auto-authenticate based
on their mac address?

i.e. "this mac has been seen at node1 within the past 5 minutes, therefore
since it's requesting to come online at node2, it's authorized without going
through the authentication process again."

Would this be an interesting feature to have submitted as a patch, assuming
nobody's done it before - or would this get my Wifidog-chew toy taken away?
