[isf-wifidog] Improving i18n support for Smarty template in WifiDog

OK, we will need to quickly improve our i18n scripts to support  
Smarty sprintf formatting. There doesn't seem to be a built-in  
support for sprintf() style formatting in Smarty. And that is already  
an issue, since I cannot correctly translate some string in French  
because I cannot swap words in sentences like we can do with sprintf 
() in plain PHP.

I checked on sourceforge and there was a project, but it doesn't  
provide the same kind of sprintf facilities.

Anybody had to figure out i18n with gettext before ?
