I suspect that this is much rarer then "internet is down as a
whole"... Not sure that it's worth fixing. If the auth server is
woefully unreliable, it's a different problem. Auth server
connectivity issues are a fairly rare occurence and those occrence
tend to be either very short or prolonged.

Maybe I'm wrong. ISF auth servers have been pretty solid, I think.
