I know of a quick and very dodgy way to do it Brian...

Warning --- This is a total 'bodge job' way of doing it, but it works....

You can always view the source of the maps page in your browser, copy
and paste the html that you see, remove all of the unneeded components
of the page then re-upload it as a html page on your webserver. All of
the 'nuts and bolts' of the google maps code are in java so it doesn't
really matter whether or not you are viewing the map in php or
html.....

Then you will see only what you want without any of the attendent
problems of figuring out the php calls first ;-)

Told you it was a dodgy way of doing it!
