[isf-wifidog] WifiDog Gateway ipk problem

Hello.

I've been attempting to compile WifiDog 1.1.3_Beta2 as an ipk package  
for a Linksys WRT54G.

I've already successfully built my own image for the router.   
However, when I run the build command "ipkg/rules BUILDROOT=/location  
of openwrt/" I keep getting the following error:

configure:  error:  C compiler cannot create executables
See 'config.log' for more details.
make:  *** [build-wifidog-stamp] Error 77

The version of OpenWRT I'm using is RC5, and I've already made,  
installed and ran a working image on a V.4 WRT54G with no problems.   
I'm only stuck at compiling a package using the same buildroot.

I'm stumped at this point.  Is it a problem with the version of  
OpenWRT I'm using, a configuration problem, or a missing library?
