[isf-wifidog] feature request - no sign on

Hmmm... There are many ways to do this, we could redirect the user to a stupid fake login page, that would simply bounce back to the gateway with a valid token right away ( without asking for a password ). The problem is the I think the method that generate connection tokens is a method of class User... We would get orphan connections in the database ( token with no user associated... )

Sincerely I don't about this one... Can anybody else answer to Mike's question.

See ya

Subject: [isf-wifidog] feature request - no sign on

how much work is required to have wifidog *not* ask for authentification?

I'm bringing this to another conference and it doesn't make sense to
ask people to create users just for one day.

However, the local portal page would be great -for doing stuff like
telling people where the irc room is, what flickr tag to use, a link
to the schedule, etc.

ideally this feature could be turned on or off throught the web interface?

I know that this isn't priority # 1, but can someone give me some
feedback on it (if it would be a problem?)
