This is clearly a 1.0 unit.  All original 1.0 units do not have a
version number.  Basically, if you're using a GS, you should probably
make sure that you have the proper firmware corresponding to WiFiDog.

<shameless plug>
I recommend going to http://www.infil00p.org/openwrt/snapshots/ and
getting the relevant files to your version of the router (in your case,
pick the v2.0 directory, since that contains the G, GS and TRX files for
an OpenWRT distro, and the corresponding WiFiDog ipk.

There's also a v2.2 directory for v2.2 hardware, which may or may not
work with the WRT54GS v1.1 but I have yet to pick one up to test it
yet.

There's also other files there of interest, namely just the patches that
I already posted here, and on the OpenWRT forums. :)
