| I can't verify everything but, Michael is at cafe santropol to set it up
| with a router he's got setup already. I don't know which version of
| wifidog he has though.
|
| He says that when he tries to access the web interface to configure
| everything, he gets a message like "the internet is down bla blah bla".
|
| So, do you think that the new stuff you put in would cause that?
|
| Like, he can't access http://192.168.8.1/ to reach the admin interface.
|
| I had him go in, chmod 0000 /etc/init.d/S65wifidog and reboot, now it
| works.
|
| Let me know!

This is expected behavior :-)

WiFiDog was not able to talk to the auth server for a while. Instead of
re-directing Mike to the auth server which would have not made any
sense, it shows him a friendly "Uh Oh!" message.

It's also smart enough and will indicate whether whether the whole
"internet is down" or "we cannot redirect you to the login screen" if
only the auth server appears down.

So, basically it seems like, at the time, the internet connection was
not working.

I saw another message from Mike indicating it's up, so I'm guessing all
is well now :)

If this happens again, check out http://ip:port/wifidog/status for extra
diagnostics.
