[isf-wifidog] Problems with sending validation emails

I'm having problems getting the authserver validation mail system to work
with sendmail.  I receive a message about the validation email being sent.
My sendmail log is showing some acitivity, but the message is never sent
and I don't see any error messages.  If I telnet into the mailserver
locally, the messages are sent.  I'm confused.  Any ideas?
