[isf-wifidog] auth-lite ?

How close is the auth-lite software to supporting the current messaging ?

Does it have the heartbeat stuff etc, that goes on after auth ?

I'm stuck on php 4/mysql like many webhosts, so want to see how easy it 
would be to get a basic auth/heartbeat server up.

I've been using nocat for a couple of years, but it doesn't have the two way 
comms, or the external splash page concepts that wifidog has.
